SAPERION ECM Data Archiving for SAP ILM has been certified for use within SAP ILM archiving. SAP ILM expands upon SAP Standard data archiving but has the SAP Records Management extension so that data from data archiving can be managed from the perspective of RM from SAP. Another way to use ILM is during system decommissioning, whereby SAP ILM has the ability to pull snapshots from ALT SAP systems and archive them through ILM. SAP BI/BO is then used for reporting for evaluation and provisioning purposes according to GDPdU and GOBS.
