The SPAR subsidiaries in Slovenia, Hungary and the Czech Republic implemented a SAPERION solution for SAP data and document archiving. Data from completed business processes is moved into the SAPERION archive to reduce the size of the original SAP database. Still, the data is accessible from within SAP if neccessary. In addition to database re-organisation all archived documents may be linked to the corresponding business processes represented in SAP. For example, SPAR scans more than 5,000 invoice documents per day and, after automatic indexing, archives them in SAPERION. |
