Transatlantic (TRC), one of the largest publicly traded reinsurers in the world, chose SAPERION after in-depth evaluation of several of the well-known solutions in the market. The primary requirement was an ECM Solution that had a fullfeatured Application Programming Interface (API) which would allow Transatlantic to integrate and control the ECM functions within TIRS, Transatlantic's own application to manage their reinsurance business processes. Transatlantic as a global company with more than thirteen major locations world-wide, needed a solution that could easily support a highly distributed, high-volume landscape to support the flow of tens of thousands of documents in their locations around the world. A full-featured ECM functionality, a seamless integration in the Microsoft Office Suite and an automated replication and fail-over architecture were also requirements SAPERION provides.
