You will be able to decrease process costs, accelerate your workflows and respond to customer requests immediately. It is possible to sign electronic documents in accordance with the Signature Act using the SAPERION Security Option, thereby to turning paper-based processes into electronic ones.

For this purpose, applications developed for electronic signatures by e.g. AuthentiDate (among other things, the company operates accredited time-stamp services) have been integrated. Studies suggest that companies might save up to 80% of their process-related costs - especially in case of an electronic exchange of invoices.

Even the basic version of the SAPERION Security Option enables you to protect your electronic documents

You only have to store them in an encrypted way and apply password protection. In addition, documents can be assigned a sophisticated digital signature. Legal compliance of the stamps is automatically ensured. We suggest you use these signatures whenever internal release processes are of a critical nature. You might sign documents by combining the signature components provided by AuthentiDate and Secrypt in order to accomplish the highest level of authenticity.

Ensure your external data exchange complies with legal regulations. It is possible to automatically verify external documents sent by e-mail. For every invoice, the respective auditing report, which complies with GDPdU, is also archived in order to be prepared for tax reporting. Legal compliance is first priority: Every electronic document that has not passed the test for integrity or authenticity is selected for manual intervention.

RWE Trading, one of the leading companies in energy trading in Europe, utilised paper forms to close deals between in-house departments and trading partners. However, these processes, including confirmations, reconfirmations, receipts and bills, needed to be electronically digitised. The best possible solution identified was to be a system combining SAPERION technology and AuthentiDate. There was little need for complex customising, as SAPERION already encompassed AuthentiDate signature modules and was fully able to handle the anticipated Workflow requirements.
