Saperion signs framework agreement in Denmark
(Berlin/Zürich) Saperion's Danish partner Steria A/S from Skovlunde, signed a Framework Agreement to provide the Saperion ECM Solution.
The agreement was made with Danish National Procurement Ltd., and will run for the next 24 months with two options to extend, each option lasting a further year.
Under this agreement with Statens og Kommunernes Indkøbsservice (SKI, http://www.ski.dk/om/sider/english.aspx) approx 12.000 facilities including ministries, local and regional authorities, trusts and other public facilities can use Saperion Solutions without further tendering or assessment. This will include not only large institutions and corporations such as Danish television production & broadcasting companies and energy corporations but also schools, nurseries, special projects and even churches. Anders Persson, Senior Consultant at Steria A/S said: "We are sure that Saperion will find a great deal of interest among many public facilities."
Steria A/S won the contract after a call for tenders. To win, Steria had to show its ability to provide and service complex solutions in a variety of IT situations. In addition, the proposed solution had to fit easily into the public sector environment. Steria and Saperion met these requirements fully. Steria was also able to offer additional document management products such as the Kofax scan solution and LaserNet Output Management.
Saperion offers the Danish public sector a number of important advantages. It is a comprehensive, standardised and proven Document Management system at a favourable price compared to conventional systems available on the Danish market. Saperion is an excellent choice for those in the public sector who are looking for a straightforward implementation, a mature, stable and proven system. With these advantages, Saperion came in ahead of the Danish contenders ScanJour and Traen.
