Fleurop was looking for an electronic archiving and document management system to use in its SAP environment and found SAPERION to best meet the company's requirements. In a first step the size of the original SAP database was reduced by means of external data archiving. In a second step Fleurop began to archive flower cheques, order slips, etc. Datasets in SAP are now linked to the corresponding documents in the electronic archive.
