RWE Trading GmbH

RWE Trading, one of the leading companies in energy trading in Europe, utilised paper forms to close deals between in-house departments and trading partners. However, these processes, including confirmations, reconfirmations, receipts and bills, needed to be electronically digitised. The best possible solution identified was to be a system combining SAPERION technology and AuthentiDate. There was little need for complex customising, as SAPERION already encompassed AuthentiDate signature modules and was fully able to handle the anticipated Workflow requirements. RWE Trading GmbH was established in 2000 and is the managing company within the RWE Group for all energy trading activities. With 650 employees RWE Trading operates trading floors in Essen, Rotterdam, London and Swindon and runs trading offices in Amsterdam, Madrid, Vienna and Warsaw.
