Day Communiqué WCM integrates with Saperion

(Berlin/Basel) Day Software and Saperion have agreed on extensive and long term cooperation in product development and distribution.

Day Communiqué WCM software already integrates with Saperion, giving users of Saperion’s ECM Solution the possibility of using Day software for web content management. This allows access to data in a variety of formats, on different systems and spread across multiple locations as well as meeting Compliance requirements.

Day Communiqué WCM (Web Content Management) meets Compliance requirements through its integration with the Saperion repository. Information held in Saperion can be processed and edited using Multichannel Publishing.

Large Organisations save data in different formats, on a variety of system platforms as well as across multiple locations. This data needs to be used in many different ways. Problems can arise when accessing data, as various applications and system platforms can be involved in the conversion, synchronisation and saving of data, as well as in access and version control.

Based on the industrial standard JSR-170, Day Communiqué allows standardised access to this data. The Java Specification Request (JSR) 170 defines a unified programming interface (API) to access a content repository. This Standard is supported by Saperion 6.0, allowing easy integration.
