SAPERION ECM and ULTIMUS BPM in a single solution

SAPERION and ULTIMUS are working towards a strategic partnership that will integrate each of their core products into a single, combined solution.

Clients that choose this combined solution will be able to utilize mature ECM functions, including the non-revisable archive in SAPERION version 5.7, together with extensive BPM functions contained in the latest version of ULTIMUS, version 8.1. With these features, users can retrieve case-relevant documents while and after handling their process tasks. Integration into Microsoft Office will simplify handling of Word or Excel files. In addition, incoming/outgoing e-mails can be automatically archived according to existing rules or be assigned to files. Interaction between the two systems will be based on SAPERION’s soon-to-be-released Larix interface, which utilizes the JSR170 industry standard. In the renowned ECM/BPM Edition of dsk-Beratungs GmbH, the product received multiple assessments for fulfilling the requirements of a uniform BPM solution.

“Working independently of each other SAPERION and ULTIMUS have subscribed to the idea of giving users a platform that they can use to implement their solutions as quickly and flexibly as possible. Customers benefits especially from very low total costs of ownership and from a high-performance combined solution for information-based business processes. This is what makes SAPERION and ULTIMUS ideal partners for offering customers an outstanding combination of BPM and ECM,” according to Karl Freiheit, Managing Director of ULTIMUS EMEA.
