About PrintSoft Hungary

PrintSoft-Hungary is selling, implementing and servicing the PC based high speed variable data composition technology and systems solutions of PrintSoft. The company developes solutions for specialized datamanipulation of RDI, AFP datas and implements solutions for: developing, producing and archiving of documents. PrintSoft Hungary is SAPERION International Premium Partner.

Challenge:

Only 3 months including specification, implementation, piloting

Parallel to the implementation of SAPERION business processes (purchasing) changed and also organizational changes were made

Solution:

State Motorway Operator decided for SAPERION

The Hungarian State Motorway Operator ÁAK Rt. has about 850 employees, runs 19 facilities with headquarter in Budapest and operates app. 1000 km Motorway. Because of privatization in process (stock exchange) the company has to move from a traditionally state company to market oriented one.

200 people used the workflow, app. 350.000 new documents came along per year. SAP financial did exist and a connection between DMS and SAP was a must.

In this situation the Hungarian State Motorway Operator started 2005 analyzing the DMS market to find a flexible DMS solution. The main focus was to find a solution, which makes the main business processes transparent and more efficient and covers all legal regulations. This includes all documents eg. purchasing, contracts handling and invoices. In addition the incoming documents should be processed considerable faster, e.g. for incoming invoices a reduction from 30 to at least 5 days. Finally all SAP related documents should be visible also in SAP.

In March 2006 the Company decided for SAPERION as presented by PrintSoft at a preceeding IT event. The main reasons for the decision were two key functions of SAPERION: The seamless SAP integration and the powerful workflow engine of SAPERION.

Short implementation

The pilot installation started end of July 2006, the complete system went live beginning of October 2006.
