Audit Trail
The history of changes to policies and documents are recorded for future audits.
Automated deletion
Documents can be automatically deleted when their retention period has expired or when they reach their destruction date. This has several advantages, including freeing up space for new documents and reducing system loads.
Integrated workflow and security
As your documents move from the "draft" phase to the "retention" phase during their lifecycles, suitable parameters will be automatically defined and (if supported by the storage system) forwarded to the documents. As a result, your documents have a double safety net: SAPERION and the storage system.
Configurable tasks
You have access to configurable tasks for deleting documents whose retention period has expired and for destroying documents whose destruction date has been reached.
Litigation hold
In the event of a legal dispute, relevant indices make it easy to find the documents and subject them to a litigation hold. These documents cannot be deleted, even when their retention period has expired.
Straightforward maintenance of retention policies
The responsible employees can easily update retention policies on their own without programming.
