Regulatory archiving
SAPERION ECM Web Content Archive can archive and reproduce websites precisely how they were presented to the end user at the time of retrieval. At the same time, the solution analyzes and records the entire flow of data between the provider and visitor. Only this type of transactional approach has the ability to ensure seamless content coverage and – as a result – full traceability of the information flows. This is also the only method that permits archiving of personalized content (such as receipts from online stores) or web applications.
Reproduction in original form
Web content transferred into the archive system can be read out directly and displayed at any time with the Browsing Service in SAPERION ECM Web Content Archive. A special browser component enables reproduction of the state of a website at a specific point in time. For the user, “surfing into the past” is as simple as using a time bar.
Filigree configuration
Of course, not all of a website’s content and components must be archived. SAPERION ECM Web Content Archive can be configured to include only certain areas of the website in the archive process. As result, it is easy to exclude entire navigation areas of the website or to “cut out” specific areas at the website level, such as images or advertisements, so these will not be archived.
Targeted attribution of websites
SAPERION ECM Web Content Archive provides freely definable enhancement of archived web content with meta data. As a result, assignment to a records management class or other types of automatic classification are possible. Archived websites can also be researched through the use of index data in the SAPERION ECM system so they can be reproduced at a later time.
Long-term archiving
SAPERION ECM Web Content Archive supports generation of renditions in PDF/A format. Archived web content is then available both in original form (as a construct of HTML code, graphics, etc.) or as a PDF/A document. This facilitates interaction through the original formats as well as long-term archiving in PDF/A format.
Non-invasive integration
The components of SAPERION ECM Web Content Archive may be installed independently of the web content management (ECM) system, e-commerce system, or portal system running on the existing web server infrastructure. Adaptation to the web systems is not required for archiving web content; the standard web service interface of the SAPERION ECM server provides integration with the centralized SAPERION ECM Archive.
Cloud-based service
The Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) version of SAPERION’s Web Content Archive solution makes it even easier to take advantage of this technology. Professional operation in a cutting-edge system environment and a pay-per-use model eliminate the need for you to commit personnel resources yet simultaneously fulfill your company’s requirements for seamless traceability.
